Oooh... cute lil puppies...
Good job on the rescue. I am always amazed at how easy it is to just ignore someone 9or something else's) plight, as opposed to doing what you can to help. If everyone did what they could, even a little bit, how much better would the world be? I get the whole, "don't get attached, because you have only just enough for your own needs" but that's a specious argument. We all have more capacity than we care to admit. There IS enough to go around, but we don't live that way, with an abundance mentality; instead we live as horders, trying to claim what's there for us only... a scarcity mentality. It's a shame.
If you can keep the dogs in good health, and get them bigger, they may sell themselves to the neighboring populace. Wonder what kind they are? Or how big they'll get? You ought to name them... then you'll NEVER be able to give them away!!
Oh, and for James... heh heh.. http://scienceblogs.com/pharyngula/
I was impressed that no matter the cultural traditions of animal handling, someone knew that you would save the second pup and left it at your gate. On some level that person cares about little critters.
Your midwifery seems to follow you everywhere, Nurse Arenas. Nice job!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY CECILY Those pups are your birthday presents. You never cease to amaze me with your healing abilities. Those are some cute puppies. You are a wonderful person. Give them a kiss for me. Good job Nurse Cecily.
